- Active BMW ConnectedDrive® account for your BMW.
- A vehicle assigned to your BMW ID, either in the My BMW App[1] or on the My BMW portal.
- Your personal data registered under your BMW ID, with your current phone number, email address, and preferred BMW Retailer.

Sensors in the vehicle detect service requirements or possible faults at an early stage and transmit them to BMW. We will then proactively contact you via the My BMW App, directly in the vehicle or via email. In urgent cases, you will receive a phone call.

Very busy people might occasionally forget their routine service. We will remind you! If a brake service is due, you'll receive a notification from us, so that you can arrange a service at your convenience. If you break down or are in an accident, you'll get fast, expert support from our BMW Roadside Assistance team.

[1] The My BMW App is optimized for BMW vehicles from 2016 model year and newer in conjunction with the option ConnectedDrive Services and a compatible smartphone. Available apps and services are subject to change, may vary by location or other factors. May require additional services, plans, subscriptions and vehicle options, and may only be operable in conjunction with certain smartphones and operating systems (smartphone not provided). Not all apps or services may be available for all BMW models.
[2] New BMW vehicles (model year 2022 and newer) purchased from an authorized BMW Retailer in Canada are covered by a No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance plan for 3 years or 60,000 kilometres (Internal Combustion Engines and Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicles), whichever comes first, or 3 years, unlimited kilometres (Battery Electric Vehicles). Certain limitations apply. Contact your BMW Retailer for details. Coverage begins on the date of sale, or the date the vehicle is placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever comes first.
