How to update your BMW's software.
As soon as a new software update is available, it will automatically be downloaded to your smartphone, from where you can conveniently transfer it to your vehicle. You can then start the installation remotely via the app or directly in the vehicle. In just about 20 minutes, your BMW will be up to date.

The BMW Digital Key will soon support up to 18 digital keys for a single vehicle. You can define the rights for each key individually, from limited driving performance for new drivers to full administrator rights. This feature will soon be available for compatible smartphones with the iOS operating system.³
