A simple touch of a button or voice command is all you need to switch a BMW electric car to Efficient Mode. Technologies that affect the drive work efficiently. The air conditioning and comfort functions are intelligently restricted.

With the BMW Operating System 8 or higher, the Efficiency Coach shows you how best to accelerate or coast to drive more efficiently. In Efficient Mode, the Max Range function provides greater range certainty. If, for example, an identified charging station cannot be used as planned, the range of your electric BMW can be increased by up to 25%. At the touch of a button and while driving.

The drive power is reduced and the maximum speed is limited to 90 km/h. Comfort services, such as air conditioning or seat heating, are intelligently reduced.
