The fastest option for charging the BMW i5 is to use a direct current (DC) charging station with a maximum of 205 kW. In this case, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80% in as little as 30 minutes.
The BMW i5 xDrive40 is a high-performance electric vehicle with a powerful output of 389 hp and 435 lb-ft torque. It therefore accelerates, from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.4 seconds. As soon as you brake, any kinetic energy generated in the process is converted into electrical energy. This charges the battery and thus increases the range of the BMW i5.
