With Remote Software Upgrade, you receive free quality improvements over-the-air. You could also receive new functions or functional improvements free of charge, if and when available, depending on the country, vehicle model, equipment and vehicle condition.

NEW MAIN MENU FOR FASTER OPERATION.

Central Information Display with the new Operating System 8.5

The structure of the main menu display in the central display is undergoing a fundamental change. The new main menu consists of two display levels. These consist of the vertically arranged widgets, which offer direct access to the most important information, and various layers in the background. Different content can be selected by swiping the widgets vertically and horizontally.
Note: A return to the previous display is no longer possible after the update.

COMFORT ENTRY AND EXIT.

Personalization of your electric driver's seat has been expanded to include entry/exit positioning on exit. The driver's seat moves to a more comfortable seat position for getting in/out when the door is opened.[1]

ACTIVE PDC.

With this upgrade, the system also brakes when reversing for pedestrians whose current movement indicates that a collision with the rear of the vehicle may be imminent.

Remote Software Upgrade Max Range on the Central Information Display

MAX RANGE.

By activating Max Range within the My Mode "Efficient", you can increase the range of your vehicle by approximately 15 to 25%. In this mode, the maximum speed of your vehicle is 90km/h and the drive power is reduced. In addition, comfort features such as the interior climate control or the seat and steering wheel heating are minimised.

ROUTE CHARGING.

In addition to various quality improvements to the function, you can select preferred charging station operators and avoid specific charging stations. Facilities (e.g. restaurant, shop, etc.) in the vicinity of the charging station are displayed visually in the route overview. In addition, the availability of the charging stations is displayed directly on the map.

An interactive display is included in your vehicle's navigation. An eventline on the left screen edge of the central information display shows you various highlights and the traffic situation along the active route.

ASSISTED DRIVING VIEW: EXPANDED DISPLAY OPTIONS.

Remote Software Upgrade Central Assisted Driving View shows current driving situation

You can now display the familiar Assisted Driving View functions (e.g. Lane Keeping Assistant) as a visualization in the KOMBI and head-up display.

This Remote Software Upgrade updates existing functions to meet the latest state-of-the-art technological standards and includes quality enhancements.
