The BMW Group views its responsibility as lying in the measurability and transparency of its sustainability reporting. This is why we have been combining our annual report with our sustainability report since 2020 to create an integrated Group report. The BMW Group Report follows the framework structures of the sustainability reporting and is independently certified.

OUR SUSTAINABLE FINANCE STRATEGY.

Sustainability has since become an important criterion in the financial markets. Investors and analysts increasingly consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects in their financial decisions. Through EU taxonomy, the European Union is also aiming to classify enterprises on the basis of sustainability criteria.
